The cold air was feeling a little chilly today so I pulled out something warm and sunny from the archives.  Much better… Look at the fire in her eyes and how it brightly it burns.

I made this portrait with the work of Irving Penn in mind.  Irving Penn has long been one of my favorite photographer’s ever since I read his quote: “A picture of a cake can be art.”  Dare to compare yourself to only the best.  Sometimes its intimidating and sometimes it can leave you doubting yourself, but it will always push you beyond your imagined limits.
